Data Integration Engineer - Celigo

Black Rifle Coffee Company is experiencing explosive growth and seeks to hire a Data Integration Engineer to work closely with developers, data architects, business analysts, and business users to implement robust development and monitoring infrastructure. This position will build, maintain and modify data integrations to sales and ERP(NetSuite) systems in the Celigo iPaaS.


  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture in Celigo, Ė own all data sources (transactional, internal and external data within our e-commerce organization) and ensure their accuracy to maintain commercial functions in our digital platforms

  • Take ownership of understanding the business and operational problems at hand and how to best solve them through a data-driven approach

  • Execute, and maintain the strategy for our data warehousing and pipelines to cater to specific business objectives, from implementation to maintenance

  • Be a key leader in our global organization, working fluidly across ABIís global and local teams and functions (sales, finance, marketing, product, IT, etc.) to make data-driven initiatives successful in an efficient way

  • Prioritize and find the most efficient path towards solving complex, ambiguous business problems with data, keeping a mindset of simplicity, robustness and speed above all

  • Perform initial data integration with new customers, and maintain the data extraction and transformation processes

  • Collaborate closely with users and trading partners to design, develop, test, and monitor EDI communications.

  • Create and manage ETL packages, triggers, stored procedures, views, and SQL transactions.

  • Develop new secure data feeds with external parties as well as internal applications including the data warehouse and business intelligence applications.

  • Perform regular analysis and QA, diagnose ETL and database related issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to management.

  • Work with a small project team to support the design, development, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of new ETL programs.



  • BSc in Engineer, Computer Science or related field (relevant professional work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree)

  • Demonstrated experience in ETL programming utilizing SSIS packages, DTS, stored procedures, and SQL scripts.

  • Demonstrated professional experience in IT development and support roles. 

  • Demonstrated experience working with ERP (NetSuite experience preferred) systems and other business systems

  • Must have demonstrated experience with Celigo iPaas

  • Experienced with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks like Handlebars

  • Proficiency with SQL

  • Experience with data pipeline engineering

  • Good understanding of data design principles

  • Proficient knowledge of Visual Basic/.NET programming and EDI transaction sets including the 5010 file layouts.

  • Experience working in a Unix-based system including the ability to read and perform basic maintenance on shell scripts. 

  • Experience with Informatica and Automate tools a plus.

  • Ability to learn systems and business processes quickly

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
