Plant Manager

Black Rifle Coffee Company seeks a dedicated and detail orientated, multi-disciplined Plant Manager for our Salt Lake City, UT apparel and roasting production operations. The Plant Manager is responsible for production-related planning, communication flow and coordination between all company resources committed to each company product. This position will be required to re-locate within 10 miles of the current plant during 2021.


  • Establish and improve mechanisms to ensure the manufacturing organization provides the required products in a safe, timely, cost effective and quality.
  • Ensure standards for equipment and operator performance are maintained, cost-effective technology is used, and fixed assets are maintained to maximize production; propose relevant recommendations regarding new equipment and plant property improvements when necessary.
  • Drive performance and provide guidance to set and achieve manufacturing goals and promote a culture of safety, quality, productivity, accountability and continuous improvement while achieving and exceeding financial targets through quality and cost efficiency
  • Review, develop and implement the policies and procedures which enable the team to provide outstanding service.
  • Train, develop and evaluate production staff to provide timely, accurate and consistent service to both internal and external customers
  • Responsible for routinely providing direct feedback and development of the BRCC Salt Lake City team including timely corrective action as necessary, defining and establishing clear objectives and expectations and performance management measurement
  • Establish key manufacturing performance indicators that drive change and visibility to the team and leadership.
  • Ability to track, trend, and monitor routinely with active data analysis to target and drive results
  •  Review production and operating reports; direct the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays



  • B.S. in Managerial/Technical area (or related field of study) or  3+ years manufacturing experience or comparable experience, preferably in food and apparel products

  • 3+ years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment

  •  Experience working in a team leadership role in Manufacturing Environment is required

  • Ability to record, report and analyze reliable data, experience with NetSuite a plus

  • Experience with lean manufacturing and quality systems supporting a continuous improvement culture

  • Ability to understand and analyze a manufacturing/supply chain P&L

  •  Willingness to be very hands-on and detail oriented

  • Former Military Service a plus
