Quality Assurance Engineer

THE ROLE

We are looking to add a Quality Assurance Lead –eCommerce. You will be responsible for ensuring that internally developed or purchased eCommerce solutions are developed, tested, and implemented in a consistent manner while meeting established quality targets. This role will work throughout multiple levels of the organization, and working closely with business stakeholders including but not limited to eComm, IT, and Marketing.

 

YOUR TASK

  • Work closely with software developers and vendors to understand new release functionality

  • Continuously re-evaluate test plans to adjust for new information and project schedules. • Develop and execute detailed functional test cases based on requirements and end-to-end infrastructure

  • Perform testing and Document and rank defects in agile project management software so they can be addressed by development teams.

  • Identify, write, and regression test defects identified during the various phases of testing

  • Conduct functional and browser compatibility tests on-site enhancement and maintenance work completed by in-house and offsite development teams.

  • Review and identify gaps and deficiencies in business requirements, technical specifications, designs, and testing documentation for completeness and testability

  • Participate in cross-functional collaborative problem solving and defect management sessions with project teams

  • Follow SQA and Testing policies, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree highly preferred

  • 5+ years of QA and testing experience is required

  • 2+ years of QA and testing leadership role preferred

  • Software Development Life Cycle experience, including Agile, Spiral, and Waterfall methods

  • Working knowledge of testing metrics, KPIs, and other test metrics and reporting methods

  • Thorough understanding of quality management and modern testing techniques, methodologies, processes, procedures, and measurement for large, complex initiatives

  • Thorough knowledge of test planning and test case design for all types of testing including functionality, usability, regression, systems integration, end to end, performance, and load testing

  • Automation testing using selenium IDE and WebDriver

  • Industry-related certifications including ISTQB, CSQA, CQA, CSTE or CISA certifications are a plus

  • US Veteran or Military a Plus
