Marketing Analyst-Customer Analytics

THE ROLE

Black Rifle Coffee Company is looking to bring on a Marketing Analytics Analyst.  We are looking for a driven, ambitious individual who wants to create a career in analytics or marketing communications.  This role will be responsible for gathering detailed data from multiple sources and providing reports, measurement, and actionable insights to the Marketing and Advertising teams.

YOUR TASK

  • Collect marketing data from multiple advertising platforms.  Analyze results and determine impact from advertisements.

  •   Monitor ad results to identify better or worse than expected performance.

  • Recommend actions to improve marketing performance and optimize return on ad spend.  Identify what works best for Marketing messages and creative. 
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting on key metrics, insights, and actionable next steps

  • Analyze geographic level results for mass media campaigns

  • Support the Marketing team in daily tasks

  • Utilize company database and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

  • Document reporting processes and information assets

  • Identify and work to resolve any data quality issues

  • Assist in Marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web)

  • Look across marketing platforms and campaigns to synthesize the results and prepare presentations on insights and findings

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelorís degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or related field

  • Masterís in Data Analytics or similar quantitative field preferred

  • 1+ year of demonstrated data analytics experience

  • Proficient in creating reports and visualizations. Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio (or similar) experience required.

  • Experience with marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, etc.) beneficial.  Geographic software also beneficial.

  • Familiarity with analytic or cloud platforms.  SQL experience desired.  Highly proficient in Excel and/or Google suite of products (Sheets, Slides) or similar.

  • Enjoys working with numbers and spreadsheets, but also able to find the "key insights" from the data and make business recommendations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative

  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
