Systems Administrator

THE ROLE

 We are looking to add a Systems Administrator to our IT department. 

YOUR TASK

 

  • Assist lead IT Staff on planning, setup, configuration, and implementation of various IT projects and processes.
  • Support remote sites and stores with various IT needs including Networking, Internet service and POS systems.
  • Support various applications to support the business and our customers such as Zendesk, WebEx, Jive (phone), Brivo (physical security), Cisco Meraki, Slack, Adobe CC. etc.
  • Support and configure corporate systems such as Office 365, Azure AD/Intune, Google Cloud Identity, etc. environment.
  • Assist in the setup and support of Cloud based infrastructure projects using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Support the transport of data
  • Interface with local customers and provides IT related support to quickly resolve problems
  • Analyzes and troubleshoots system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance
  • Performs periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates and system configuration changes
  • Ability manage backlog, document tasks in Jira ticketing system, and create SOP documentation
  • Setup New Hire accounts and hardware as well as offer training as needed
  • Support and maintain user accounts including rights, security, and system groups.
  • PCs, MACs, printers, mobile devices, and related auxiliary systems.
  • Support and backup the Enterprise support team and the Retail support Team
  • Attends planning and requirements meetings with IT staff
  • Prepares system for operational use and supports operational tests
  • Provides technical guidance and training as needed

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Solid grasp across a broad set of infrastructure solutions/ concepts including Cloud Computing, SAN Storage, Desktop computing, WAN and LAN (VLAN) concepts
  • Broad experience with overall Microsoft technology portfolio including Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server and O365 deployments
  • Scripting languages a plus such as Bash, python
  • Minimum 5 years of broad IT Infrastructure experience
  • Minimum 6 Years working in a technology support role
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives, as an excellent teammate, in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and demonstrate deep technical design and decision making skills
