Print Press Operator

Black Rifle Coffee Company seeks a motivated, hard-working individual to join our Print Production Team as a Print Press Operator.  Join a team of bright, dedicated people running “100 miles an hour” to get the job done.  The Print Press Operator is responsible for maintaining and operating automatic presses.  Ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards are essential for this position.  Screen Print Operators should demonstrate printing expertise, stamina, effective communication, teamwork, time management, and basic mechanical competencies.


  • Use proper methods/techniques to operate and maintain automatic screen-printing equipment on apparel and textiles.
  • Verify size, color, and type of product and color of ink(s) from work order. Obtain and check equipment and related supplies to produce the job.
  • Utilize work orders to review color sequences to set up job in correct order.
  • Set-up press by installing screens, squeegees, flood bars, flash drying units, and by registering product to press and screen image. Follow-up regularly to confirm quality of product being printed.
  • Ensure dryer is set to proper curing time and temperature.
  • Work with his/her team to print jobs while maintaining optimum production rates, color density, registration, and quality standards according to company guidelines and specifications.
  • Maintain continuous inspection of job specifications and quality throughout production run.
  • Follow all safety and operational procedures.
  • Ensure proper cleanliness of the department and equipment is maintained.  Perform minor repairs when necessary.


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior print shop experience required.
  • Ability to safely lift, push, pull up to 75 lbs. 
  • Ability to follow instructions outlined in a work order.
  • At least 1 year experience on a manual or automatic print press.
  • Solution oriented and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills with a great attention to detail
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing business
  • US Military Veteran a plus
